Most importantly about me…I’m a child of God. I’m made in his image! I’m loved by Him and have been justified by Him through the blood of His son Jesus whom we call the Christ. I have His Holy Spirit inside me and try to be guided, comforted, counseled and convicted by His Spirit continually. I truly love my Father in heaven but am afraid I don’t always show it by my actions.
I’m the husband of Christy, a caring, beautiful, talented woman of God. We’ve been married over 20 years and she is truly a blessing from God. God has blessed us together with 3 pretty cool kiddos who make me laugh, cry, and be filled with pride often.
I’m blessed to have been serving the Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo, Tx. since 2000. Southwest has been a fantastic, loving church for me and my family to grow up in. We’ve learned so much about our Lord and each other here. In 2014, Southwest asked me to also join the eldership. I didn’t say they were smart….I said they were loving!
I also love to sing and get to perform here and there. I love to teach and currently get to teach drumline at Amarillo High School.
When I sit and really think….it is so obvious that I am loved by God…how could I ever miss it?
